Welcome to the home of the Penn State Math Club! We operate the Penn State Math Club to promote the interest of mathematics at Penn State, to aid students with an interest in mathematics, and to promote interaction among math undergraduates, graduates and faculty.

What We Do

The Penn State Math Club offers members and non-members alike the opportunity to listen to wonderful guest lecturers, work on solving difficult math puzzles, hang out in our new Math Club Room, and enjoy free tutoring services!

Problem of the Month

A Teacher thinks of two consecutive numbers in the range 1 to 10, and tells Alex one of the numbers and Sam the other.
Sam and Alex have the following conversation:

Alex: I don't know your number.
